About the role
Location: Virtual, to be dropped off at:
The Gardens at Hope Communities 4919 E Thrill Pl Denver, CO 80207 Position Information: Hope Communities, a nonprofit providing support and affordable housing to intersectional communities across the Denver area, often distributes meal kits to residents in need. We need volunteers throughout the year to put together ingredients for a full meal for individuals, seniors, and families. All ingredients should be shelf-stable, and ideally would come with a $10 Walmart or King Soopers gift card to buy fresh ingredients, but this is not required. Meals should include diverse sources of nutrition (grains, protein, and produce). Examples: Peanut butter and jelly + bread or crackers Canned soup, tuna, or chicken Pasta and sauce Ramen with seasoning and eggs (include instructions) Rice, beans, and canned vegetables Instant oatmeal or cereal Canned fruit You can make as many meal kits as you'd like, and they will be distributed as the need arises. Please email elfaz@hopecommunities.org with questions or to coordinate drop off. Watch our video to learn more: Hope Communities
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
