Maintenance TechnicianPay Rate: 25-38/HR Hours: M-F 8am - 4:00pm Location: 3003 77th Ave SE, Mercer Island WAOverview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: Class A office Building. There will be a lot of interaction with the client so candidate will need to have a high level of professionalism. Team Overview: Candidate will work with a team, but will be attending to the work mostly independently. Resource's typical working day: Daily rounds Reactive calls PM's Basic plumbing, mechanical, electric, carpentry.Licenses/Certifications: n/a Must Have Skills: Basic plumbing, mechanical, electric, carpentry Nice to have skills: CMMS experience Slack experience Years of Experience: 2-4 years Education H.S. diploma or GED, trade school preferred Software skills: CMMS experience Slack experience Ability to use email Basic computer skillsAbout the Role: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.What You'll Do:Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
