This 36-week contract in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, offers up to $50/hr based on experience. The role requires certification and flexibility to meet student needs.
Key Responsibilities: Provide orientation and mobility instruction to students with visual impairments in a school setting. Develop individualized plans to foster independence in daily navigation skills. Collaborate with educators and family members to implement mobility strategies. Utilize assistive devices and mobility tools effectively to support student needs. Monitor progress and adjust instruction techniques to ensure student success.
Qualifications: Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist certification or equivalent.0+ years of experience; experience in school settings preferred. Available to work 4-5 days per week, 7:30am-3:30pm, adaptable to part-time or full-time schedules. Excellent communication skills. Background checks required.
