Driver/Activities Coordinator At Cedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what "Celebrating Life Every Day!" means to our residents and their families, then we help them achieve these goals. We are seeking a dynamic full-time Driver/Activities Coordinator for our community.
Responsibilities:
Drives vehicle to transport residents from community to disabled passengers into and out of vehicle. Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip. Reports disruption of service to manager. Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories. Meets all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Assists in planning, scheduling and conducting activities programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for the residents. Attends community planned functions and assists with coordinating events from beginning to end including setup, running, and breaking down for the event. Addresses resident groups and other groups on subjects of common interest. Interacts with residents, guests and staff in an atmosphere of hospitality.
Educational/Experience:
Current chauffeur drivers' license is required.
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Prior experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
