About the role
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements
- Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation within the Calypso platform
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories
- Collaborate with development, testing, and support teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle
- Conduct impact assessments for system enhancements, configuration changes, and platform upgrades
- Support solution design discussions and ensure alignment with business objectives and platform capabilities
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings across business and technology teams
- Assist with test planning, user acceptance testing, and validation of delivered solutions
- Provide subject matter expertise on trade lifecycle events, product setup, workflows, and operational processes
- Support production issue analysis and contribute to continuous platform improvement initiatives
- Strong hands-on experience working with the Calypso platform
- Deep understanding of trade lifecycle processes across front, middle, and back office functions
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Experience across asset classes such as Fixed Income, FX, Money Markets, Commodities, Equities, or Derivatives
- Knowledge of Calypso configuration, workflows, collateral management, settlements, risk, or accounting modules
- Experience supporting platform upgrades, enhancements, or integration initiatives
