Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services to students across Region 9 member school districts in New Mexico. The SLP will conduct evaluations, provide therapy, support IEP development, and collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and school personnel.
Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to students based on their IEPs. - Conduct evaluations and assessments and prepare written reports. - Participate in IEP development and attend IEP meetings. - Maintain accurate clinical and service-delivery documentation. - Attend required school district and Region 9 meetings. - Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals. - Maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal regulations. - Provide services within the scope of professional licensure. - Maintain all required professional and educational licenses.
Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or applicable professional qualification. - Current New Mexico professional board license Required. - Current New Mexico Public Education Department (NM PED) license Required.
