About the role

Instructor, Music Class Provide instruction in the fundamentals of playing the musical instrument, including posture, note reading, rhythm, technical competency, and interpretation. This position is grant-funded. Responsible for providing instruction and assign repertoire that matches the level of each individual student. Develop and present a curriculum that provides students with an experience in the art form that is age appropriate, and challenges students to achieve at the highest level. Present a culminating event representing the quality of work undertaken over the course of the semester. Performs other duties as assigned.

However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.; Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite Special Note: This is a Part-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Position, with the following Set Rate of Pay: $42.00/ hour. If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
