Location: Mercy Outpatient Surgery Center (I35) - Edmond, Oklahoma
Shift: Full Time, 40 hours/week
Overview: Under direct supervision completes tasks, according to skill level, to assist surgery personnel in providing nursing care and surgical services to patients in the operating room area.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Education: Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course.
Preferred Experience: Previous Nurse aide and/or phlebotomy experience in acute care setting.
Certifications: BLS certified. Required certification must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Why Mercy?
