Job Description: Grace is seeking a Senior Commercial Process Architect to join our IT Business Engagement team! This role reports to the Business Engagement and Architecture Manager, located at our headquarters in Columbia, MD.As the Senior Commercial Process Architect, you will design and optimize our end-to-end commercial operations to drive revenue growth and streamline the lead-to-quote lifecycle. You will bridge business strategy and technical execution, utilizing the latest innovations in the Salesforce ecosystem and AI to transform our global sales processes. Success in this position means delivering scalable, business-focused architectures that empower our commercial teams and enhance partner collaboration.#LI-ZR1Responsibilities Architect the complete commercial lifecycle from initial lead capture and opportunity management to complex product configuration, quote creation, and contract execution. Design formula-based pricing models within CPQ that dynamically adjust contract pricing based on external market indices, commodity fluctuations, and complex tiered agreements. Oversee the structural design of Revenue Cloud, managing index-linked contracts, volume-based rebates, and automated revenue recognition workflows. Build unified digital journeys for the entire customer lifecycle, including seamless partner collaboration portals and omnichannel engagement. Structure run-rate and program-based sales processes utilizing Manufacturing Cloud principles, including Sales Agreements and Account Forecasting. Integrate highly technical presales workflows, such as diagnostic sales evaluations and technical service loops, directly into standard commercial quoting operations. Drive continuous process improvements by identifying bottlenecks in the commercial flow and applying AI-driven automation to reduce cycle times. Partner directly with Commercial leaders to translate complex, industry-specific workflows into scalable technical blueprints. Ensure technical architecture remains closely aligned with business outcomes and integrates seamlessly with enterprise ERP systems. Required
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.10+ years of experience designing complex B2B commercial architectures, including formulaic contracts, rebate structures, and partner management. Deep functional and technical knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ, and Manufacturing Cloud. Proven experience implementing dynamic and index-based pricing models within Salesforce CPQ.Preferred
Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to apply generative AI and autonomous agents (e.g., Salesforce Agentforce) to real-world commercial process improvements. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and designing robust integrations with enterprise ERP systems (SAP ECC or S/4HANA).Salesforce B2B Solution Architect, CPQ Specialist, or other relevant Architect-level certifications.
