About Marquis Marquis is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our fast-paced Production team. You will take foundational brand and campaign concepts and prepare them into flawless, production-ready direct mail and email for our financial institution clients. You'll work closely with the project team and leverage AI strategies to manage a high volume of production and ensure that the execution meets strict technical, platform and brand specifications. This position is 20% design, 80% production.
Responsibilities: Execute high-volume versioning for print and email from approved concepts, ensuring absolute precision and brand consistency. Create engaging emails that are visually appealing, on-brand and compatible with data merges. Create direct mail pieces that adhere to specifications including postcards, letters and self-mailers. Prepare production-ready files for both email deployment and print production. Preflight and troubleshoot files for data merges to be printed on digital presses. Collaborate with client services and marketing teams to translate campaign goals into effective visual communications. Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Integrate AI workflows to optimize campaign production speed and eliminate execution errors.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.3+ years of professional graphic design experience in a comparable environment. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory and visual hierarchy. Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. Experience designing for marketing automation or email platforms. Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation. Familiarity with responsive email design and marketing best practices. A strong portfolio demonstrating email marketing, direct mail is required. Recommended but not required: Experience with Figma, basic HTML, knowledge of building files for data merge and/or variable print production, experience leveraging AI, experience working with financial institutions.
