About the role

Technical Program ManagerIgnite IT is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team to provide delivery excellence over multiple workstreams in support of the Census and drive business growth and improve customer experiences.Responsibilities:Accountable for overall program performance and communicates with stakeholders regarding the technical scope and the overall attributes of the programAttends government meetings and manages contract level deliverables/reportsOversees performance under the contract (quality, risk, budget, schedule, etc.)Initiates and approves recruiting, hiring, personnel actions, subcontracting, and other corporate support activities to meet program requirementsComplies with program reporting, delivery, and invoicing requirementsProvide overall technical program management and operational oversight for cloud infrastructure, cloud engineering, and enterprise data center operations. Maintain operational awareness of cloud and data center environments, including availability, capacity, performance, security, incidents, maintenance activities, and service health.Oversee the planning and execution of cloud infrastructure deployments, migrations, upgrades, modernization initiatives, and data center refresh activities.Manage and coordinate major incident response, ensuring technical resources are engaged quickly and customers receive timely, accurate status updates.Establish incident communication cadences and ensure stakeholders understand business impact, current status, mitigation actions, risks, and estimated restoration activities.Identify and report infrastructure/technical risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, technical debt, and operational weaknesses before they impact mission or customer operations.
