The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Epic experience with Healthy Planet and Compass Rose, along with experience supporting Ambulatory workflows. This is a hands-on analyst role requiring candidates who can quickly understand established build patterns and independently execute work within Epic.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on Epic build, configuration, testing, and maintenance in support of the Hippocratic AI initiative. Execute repeatable Healthy Planet and Compass Rose build activities based on established requirements, standards, and build patterns. Support workflows involving population health, care management, patient outreach, and ambulatory care. Partner with internal Epic analysts to understand requirements and translate established workflows into appropriate Epic configuration. Take ownership of routine and repeatable build requests, allowing internal analysts to focus on complex and net-new development. Perform unit testing and assist with integrated testing, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Document build decisions, configurations, workflows, and changes according to organizational standards. Identify issues or requirements that fall outside established patterns and escalate them to the appropriate internal Epic SMEs. Collaborate with Epic application teams, operational stakeholders, project leadership, and other technical resources throughout the initiative. Support optimization and remediation activities as project requirements evolve throughout the engagement.
Required Qualifications:
Current Epic Healthy Planet certification. Epic Compass Rose certification. Epic Ambulatory certification and/or significant hands-on Ambulatory experience. Demonstrated experience performing hands-on Epic application build and configuration. Strong understanding of Healthy Planet workflows, population health, care management, and related Epic functionality. Ability to independently execute established build patterns with limited oversight. Experience with testing, validation, troubleshooting, and documentation within an Epic environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Epic Cadence certification or experience supporting scheduling-related workflows. Experience working across Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, and Ambulatory in an integrated Epic environment. Previous experience supporting large Epic optimization, implementation, or digital health initiatives. Experience working in a consulting or contract capacity within a large health system. Familiarity with AI-enabled clinical or patient-engagement workflows is a plus.
Ideal Candidate:
The strongest candidate will be an experienced Epic analyst who is certified in Healthy Planet and Compass Rose, understands Ambulatory workflows, and is comfortable owning a high volume of repeatable Epic build activities. This person should be able to come into an established environment, learn the client's build patterns quickly, and execute independently while knowing when a request requires escalation to internal subject-matter experts.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
