About the role
- Management of patient movement disorders such as spasticity, and dystonia
- Perform general pediatric rehabilitation procedures including ITB pump management and botulinum toxin injections
- Create and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, involving a combination of medical interventions and therapies
- Inpatient therapy admissions and consultations as needed
- Develop, maintain and promote effective working relationships with other physicians and hospital staff
- Collaborate with other clinicians to provide excellent multidisciplinary care including therapy services, orthotics, child life and gait lane analysis
- Supervise and teach child and adult residents, fellows, and medical students
- Participate in research
- Participate in institution-wide committees, as appointed
- Performs other duties as assigned
