Job Description: Material Handler / Tire Warehouse Associate
Location: Addison, IL
Schedule: 1st shift - Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $18/hr

Job Overview: Our client is looking for a dependable and hardworking Material Handler / Tire Warehouse Associate to join their dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and enjoys hands-on work. The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, movement, organization, and storage of tires and other automotive materials throughout the facility.
Duties: Load and unload tires, wheels, automotive parts, and other materials from delivery trucks. Move heavy tires and materials throughout the warehouse and service facility. Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Organize and store inventory in designated areas. Prepare tires and materials for customer orders, deliveries, and service operations. Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verifying quantities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures when handling heavy materials. Assist technicians and other team members with moving and staging tires and equipment. Operate material-handling equipment when properly trained and authorized. Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications: Previous warehouse, material-handling, tire, automotive, or shipping/receiving experience is preferred but not required. This is a physically demanding position. The successful candidate must be able to: Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull heavy tires and materials. Perform repetitive lifting and material-handling tasks throughout the workday. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods. Work in a warehouse/service-shop environment with varying temperatures and conditions. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures and good communication and teamwork skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
