Job DescriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water/Wastewater Design Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure projects and will contribute to the design and execution of treatment plants, storage tanks, pumping stations, distribution systems, and collection systems. You will work on a variety of municipal water and sewer projects alongside a multidisciplinary team, providing innovative solutions and ensuring project success.Key Responsibilities:Develop and interpret engineering designs, plans, and specifications for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the design and execution of municipal water and sewer projects.Communicate effectively with regulators, contractors, clients, and the public regarding project details and requirements.Provide technical guidance and support during project planning and execution phases.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with a clear path toward obtaining PE licensure.5-7 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.Proven experience with treatment plants, storage tanks, pumping stations, distribution systems, and collection systems.Strong proficiency in preparing and interpreting engineering plans and specifications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently under minimal supervision within a multidisciplinary environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in municipal water and sewer projects.Familiarity with local, state, and federal water and wastewater regulations.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.A collaborative and supportive work environment.
