About the role
New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services The New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services (ILS) seeks to hire a Litigation Resource Attorney for the Statewide Appellate Support Center at ILS in Albany, New York. The Center helps fulfill the agency’s statutory mission to improve the quality of representation offered by attorneys providing mandated criminal and Family Court defense statewide. The Litigation Resource Attorney will help develop statewide initiatives by creating supportive resources and training. They will also provide individual consultation services to improve mandated representation with an emphasis on helping trial-level providers. The Litigation Resource Attorney will also work collaboratively with other units within ILS to ensure the broadest impact of new initiatives.
