About the role

Student Success CoachThe Student Success Coach serves as a highly visible, front-facing member of the Student Success Center and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and student-centered experience at ASUMH. This position provides comprehensive academic advising, registration assistance, retention support, transfer guidance, and Veterans Services to current and prospective students. The Student Success Coach works directly with students from a wide variety of backgrounds and circumstances and must consistently demonstrate a positive, approachable, patient, and solutions-oriented attitude. The successful candidate will enjoy working with people, take initiative to assist students, communicate effectively, and make every effort to help students successfully navigate college processes. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and other campus departments, the Student Success Coach helps students overcome barriers, make informed academic decisions, connect with appropriate resources, and progress toward completion of their educational goals.
