Recruiting And HR ManagerRecruiting DutiesDevelop and maintain long-term working relationships and communications with hiring managers and senior management to understand key business issues that may have a direct impact on current and future staffing needs and to establish requisition-specific staffing strategies in order to ensure that openings are filled according to hiring manager needs and expectationsEnsure that a comprehensive interviewing and assessment process is created for all rolesFacilitate debrief meetings with hiring managers in order to determine which candidates to pursueSource leads and screen candidates to develop a pool of talent for open positionsEstablish strong relationships with candidates to ensure they have a positive recruiting experienceProvide recruitment updates when necessaryRemain informed of information, research, trends, comps, and best practicesRecruit and interview potential applicantsUpdates job requirements when neededContacts applicants' references and performs background checks required by the company for applicantsMaintains relevant background and certification compliance for various Membership ProgramsOrganizes and manages new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programsHR DutiesExplains and provides information on employee benefits, programs, and educationAdvise on benefits needsCovers all legal compliance for human resource federal and state requirementsMaintains employee records and paperworkMaintains robust employee development and review programCoordinates and manages employee and department development targetsProcess Company payroll with third party payroll providerRepresents employer in the community and recruiting eventsAnswers employee questions and addresses employee concerns with the company; including employee safety, welfare, wellness and healthManages committees on wellness, training, health, and safety, culture, and communicationsManages employee compensation plans and drives semi-annual performance reviewsAssists/conducts exit interviews and tracks trends. Tracks and maintains turnover reports and analysisCompiles ad-hoc reports as neededCreates and maintains employee recognition and reward programDevelops monthly calendar and assists with developing a Company newsletterAssists Executive Team with administrative supportQualifications5+ years of recruiting and human resources experience. Experience with recruiting sales positions preferredBroad knowledge of sourcing strategies to produce a pipeline of outstanding talent and assessment/screening tools to identify potential candidatesExperience with applicant tracking systemsSuperior verbal and written communication skillsExcellent planning and time-management skills necessary to achieve business goals and increase efficienciesAble to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPossesses superb written and spoken communication skillsExcellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skillsExcellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and/or HR portal applications such as HR360, Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record-keepingOrganized and efficient in daily tasksSpecialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferredGeneral knowledge of employment laws and best practicesEducationBachelor's Degree Preferred (Human Resources, or related field)
