Maintenance TechWe are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Maintenance Tech to join our team at Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Maintenance Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by providing excellent maintenance and repair services. Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
Conduct repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances
Assist with general maintenance duties, such as painting, cleaning, and preparing areas for special events
Respond to resident and staff requests for maintenance and repair services
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Demonstrate a commitment to resident satisfaction and safety

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 1 year of experience in maintenance work (non-negotiable)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
