About the role

A design doesn't stop mattering when it's released. It needs to work, hold up, and improve when real-world use reveals a problem. Bring your SolidWorks skills to engineering work that connects design decisions with product performance, whether you're a recent graduate or an experienced engineer.
Job Summary: We're hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for fully onsite work in Wilmington, Ohio, near the Dayton metropolitan area. You'll support regulated electromechanical products and their structural and mechanical components, contributing to new designs, existing-product improvements, and the investigation of field issues. Working with product development, test, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and operations teams, you'll help maintain design documentation and support product verification and validation. Qualified new graduates are welcome; two to five years of relevant experience is preferred, not required.
What You'll Do: Support mechanical product and subsystem design, maintain SolidWorks drawings and models, and create or update bills of materials. Participate in new-product development and design reviews, contribute to failure mode and effects analysis, and maintain design-history and product documentation before and after release. Review verification and validation test plans and results, working with test, quality, and regulatory teams to support product certification requirements. Investigate customer complaints and field issues, perform root-cause and failure analysis, and coordinate cross-functional corrective actions through implementation. Develop improvements to existing products and work with manufacturing and quality engineers to identify design-related cost improvements. What You'll BringB.S. in Mechanical Engineering is required; equivalent experience does not replace the degree requirement. SolidWorks proficiency and a strong foundation in mechanical design. Ability to learn our products and engineering processes and work with regulated documentation, including FDA/ISO requirements. Two to five years of relevant experience is preferred; qualified new graduates can be considered. Knowledge or experience with GD&T, Design for Manufacturability and Assembly, and FEA is preferred. Prior regulated-industry experience and experience developing or supporting medium- to high-volume products are preferred, not required. Willingness to work fully onsite in Wilmington, Ohio. We offer an annual base salary of $85,000-$100,000, a 10% bonus opportunity based on company and individual performance, and lump-sum relocation assistance. Interviews include a Teams conversation followed by an onsite interview. Ready to put your design skills to work? Apply today.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
