Job Description: Quick Hire is hiring experienced Class A Metal Finishers / Grinders for Kamtek in Birmingham, Alabama. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with immediate start dates and competitive pay ranging from $21 to $26 per hour, based on experience and skill level. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in metal finishing, grinding, sanding, deburring, polishing, and surface prep. The ideal candidate has worked in a manufacturing, automotive, fabrication, welding, or production environment and understands how to complete finish work that meets quality standards. Class A refers to skill level
Responsibilities: Perform metal finishing, grinding, sanding, and surface blending on parts Remove burrs, rough edges, weld marks, scratches, or surface imperfections Use hand grinders, DA sanders, die grinders, flap wheels, buffers, and related tools Prepare parts for inspection, paint, coating, or final production Follow safety procedures and use proper PPEInspect finished work to ensure parts meet quality expectations Maintain a clean and organized work area Work as part of a fast-paced manufacturing team
