About the role

Our client is an independently owned logistics and fulfillment company that handles warehousing, ecommerce orders, crowdfunding packouts, retail distribution, and white glove specialty packing. As they open a new facility in Peoria, Arizona, they are looking for a hands on Warehouse Manager to build out the site, hire and train the team, and run the systems behind it. This is a rare chance to shape a facility from the ground up, report directly to company leadership, and grow alongside an expanding business. The role offers strong growth potential. What You'll Do:
  • Build out the new facility, including layout, storage, workflows, and equipment
  • Recruit, hire, train, and lead the warehouse team
  • Work alongside the team on the floor, setting the pace for quality, accountability, and safety
  • Oversee receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping across multiple client accounts
  • Uphold white glove standards for fragile, high value, and specialty items, including custom packouts
  • Plan and manage high volume periods such as crowdfunding fulfillment
  • Create and enforce standard operating procedures and keep the facility organized and safe
  • Manage operations in ShipHero and track projects in Monday.com
  • Track KPIs such as order accuracy, on time shipping, and inventory accuracy, and report results to leadership
  • Coordinate with the Michigan team and clients on priorities and special handling requests
  • What You Bring 5+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience hiring, training, and developing warehouse teams
  • Hands on experience with ShipHero or a similar warehouse management system
  • Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets, plus comfort with Monday.com and AI tools such as Claude
  • Proficiency with mobile devices, scanners, and handheld warehouse technology
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for high quality service
  • Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion
  • Willingness to travel periodically to Michigan
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PreferredForklift certification or willingness to obtain
  • Background in 3PL, ecommerce, or crowdfunding fulfillment
  • Experience opening or scaling a new warehouse facility
  • Experience handling collectibles, luxury goods, or other high value productsCRM experience

Pay range: $60,000 to $85,000 depending on experience
