Duties and Responsibilities: The SLP works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings. The SLP also supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists so he/she can maintain a master Special Education list. NHA provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as, resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.
Qualifications:
  • Ohio State Board approved SLP license and ODE Pupil Services license or registration with the SLP endorsement
  • Candidates with experience working with at-risk students is preferred, if applicable to the school.
