Work Location: Chicago, USAAbout Role: We are looking for an experienced Advertiser Sales Leader based in Chicago, USA. The primary responsibility of the candidate is to drive new business and grow strategic advertiser and agency relationships across Affinity's Display advertising portfolio, including Mobile, Desktop, Video, Connected TV (CTV), Browser, and OEM advertising solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, creating innovative digital media strategies, and delivering consultative advertising solutions that help brands achieve their marketing objectives. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in digital advertising sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, strong commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the programmatic and digital media ecosystem. Roles & Responsibility: Focus on new business development with advertisers and agencies based out of Chicago Grow existing advertiser and agency relationships across Chicago and the Midwestern US while identifying and acquiring new advertisers interested in Affinity's Display advertising solutions. Develop sales strategies and establish action plan (lead list, timelines, approach) to achieve annual revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key agency holding groups, independent agencies, trading desks, and brand marketing teams to drive new business opportunities. Build a sales pipeline and implement outreach successfully to attain monthly targets. Maintain accurate CRM records, manage the sales pipeline effectively, and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Work closely with internal Account Management and Ad Operations teams to ensure successful campaign execution and deliver an exceptional client experience. Develop compelling sales presentations, media plans, business proposals, and customized client recommendations aligned with advertiser objectives. Understand advertiser objectives and collaborate with Product, Marketing, and internal stakeholders to position innovative advertising solutions that address evolving market needs. Partner closely with Product, Publisher Development, and Leadership teams to introduce new inventory, advertising solutions, and market opportunities that drive revenue growth.
Required Skills: At least 9+ years relevant experience in the online advertising industry existing relationships with decision-makers in the media buying space and a proven track record working with digital advertising networks, agencies, and brands. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Driven, self-motivated, with an inclination towards learning and grasping new concepts. Should be a great team player and motivator. Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with sharp analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Proficient in usage of the entire MS Office suite (Power Point, Excel & Word) to create business models and deal simulations for Brands/Advertisers/Agencies.
