About the role
Sterile Processing Technician We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our surgical services team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instruments. Shift Details
Schedule:
5x 8s, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Monday - Friday) with holiday rotation may be required.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all surgical instruments are properly sterilized and maintained. Float within designated scope to meet facility needs. May be required to float between multiple locations within the region as necessary. Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing. Level 1 Trauma center experience is required. Experience with neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN cases is preferred. National certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA are required. BLS certification is not required.
Additional Information:
Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Staffed Beds: 820 Parking: $20 one-time payment for parking pass during nights and weekends.
