Finance & Accounting Associate About Us KMTC USA Corporation is the U.S. subsidiary of Korea Marine Transport Co., Ltd. (KMTC), a global container carrier headquartered in Korea. KMTC operates an international container shipping network connecting major trade lanes across Asia and other regions. We are establishing and expanding our U.S. presence in Tempe, AZ and nearby cities, and we are seeking motivated, capable professionals who want to grow with us. While our U.S. operations are in the early stages of growth, we are backed by an established international organization headquartered in South Korea, founded in 1954 with a 41-year track record of profitability. Job Summary:
Support the Finance team with day-to-day accounting operations, financial transactions, and month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow in an international company environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) transactions Perform invoice validation, matching, and payment processing Assist with cash application and bank reconciliations Support month-end and year-end closing activities Maintain organized financial records and documentation Prepare basic financial reports and assist with audit requirements Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy This role may require flexibility to support evolving business and operational needs Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, administrative, or coordination roles Bachelor's degree preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environment Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. (Form I-9 verification required upon hire) Shipping or logistics experience is a plus but not required Must be able to work onsite at the assigned office location Work Schedule M-F (Standard Business Hours local time)
