About the role
Job Description:
A local furniture distribution center is seeking dependable Warehouse Associates to assist with loading and unloading furniture. This position involves physically handling furniture and other warehouse materials while helping ensure products are safely and efficiently moved throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload furniture from trucks and trailers
- Move and organize furniture throughout the warehouse
- Handle furniture safely to prevent damage
- Assist with preparing orders for delivery
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move furniture and other heavy items
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous warehouse or furniture-handling experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday; Start time: 3:00 pm; shifts may run until daily work is completed.
