About the role

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the RN Telephonic Case Manager will manage a portfolio of injured workers by creating case management strategies that facilitate medical recovery and successful return to work through advocacy, communication, and coordination of medical services. Key responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessments via telephone to evaluate the injured worker's needs and treatment progress Communicate effectively and build relationships with claims examiners, clients, injured workers, and other stakeholders Identify and address issues related to delayed recovery and negotiate treatment plans with medical providers Required qualifications Current unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience preferred Certification in case management, rehabilitation nursing, or a related specialty is highly preferred
