About the role
Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Auto Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles while providing quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Pay is based on experience and on billable hours.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle problems.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Service brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, cooling, and engine systems.
Perform oil changes, tune-ups, and other preventative maintenance.
Use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools safely and effectively.
Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle conditions clearly.
Maintain accurate service records.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Follow manufacturer specifications and shop safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous automotive repair experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools.
Valid driver's license.
ASE certification is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
