Previous construction or crawlspace experience is not required. *Overview: The Sales Inspector will play a key role in driving revenue growth for an established residential crawlspace repair company serving the Greater Charleston market. This is a customer-facing, field-based sales position responsible for meeting with homeowners, evaluating crawlspace conditions, identifying potential issues, and recommending repair solutions. The Sales Inspector will own the customer relationship from initial inspection through proposal development, follow-up, and closing the sale. This role combines consultative sales, technical problem-solving, and relationship building. You'll work directly with homeowners to understand their concerns, explain recommended solutions, and help them make informed decisions about protecting their homes. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who enjoys working independently, building relationships, and being rewarded for performance. Previous experience in home services, construction, or technical sales is helpful but not required. What You'll Own: Conduct thorough residential crawlspace inspections to identify moisture, water intrusion, structural damage, wood rot, and other repair needs. Develop scopes of work, recommend solutions, and present repair proposals. Manage the full sales process, including inspections, estimates, follow-up, and closing. Build trust with homeowners through clear communication, professionalism, and a consultative approach to sales. Manage your daily schedule, appointments, and sales pipeline using company-provided technology. Partner with operations and field crews to ensure accurate project scopes and smooth execution. Support local business development through networking, referrals, and relationship building. Consistently meet sales performance expectations while delivering an excellent customer experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn technical concepts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort working in a hands-on, blue-collar environment, including physically entering and inspecting crawlspaces. Proficiency with technology and the ability to manage customer information, appointments, and follow-ups. A valid South Carolina driver's license and clean driving record.
Compensation:
$57,000 annual base salary plus performance-based commissions. Commission structure tied to monthly sales production. Company-provided work vehicle. Company-provided tools and technology, including laptop and phone.10 days paid time off and 8 paid holidays.
