About the role

This is a remote position! Volunteers will be responsible for responding to new health forms/cases as they arrive in the VetCare inbox for cats. You'll be corresponding with fosters/trial adopters and helping them triage various health issues. If a cat needs to go to the vet, case managers help send records and correspond with clinics. This role is a little more involved and time-consuming, as you'll need to stay up to date and respond to fosters in a timely manner. You will need to have access to GChat and email throughout the day in order to perform admin tasks daily. Case managers work on each case until symptoms resolve or the cat is adopted. Experience, knowledge, and desire to learn more about animal care is required. Expect to spend between 10-20 hours a week.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
