Job Description:
Travel Registered Nurse - Stepdown in Morgantown, WVYou will be working as a Travel RN in a 31-bed Neuro Stepdown and EMU unit in Morgantown, WV. This role includes caring for higher acuity neuroscience patients, such as those with strokes, seizures, and craniotomies.
Job Overview
Shift: Nights, 3x12 (three 12-hour shifts per week), holidays and weekends as needed
About the Unit31 total beds (25 stepdown, 6 EMU) Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3 for stepdown, 1:5-6 for EMUCommon diagnoses include strokes, EMU patients, and post-craniotomy patients Charge Nurse available 24/7RT equipment available 24/7; RN's are not required to have vent experience Tele available; RN's do not have to read strips Two shifts of unit-specific orientation Royal Blue dress code
Requirements:
2 years of experienceBLS Certification, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred Strong neuro experience and history of caring for stroke patients
