About the role
- Significant hands-on experience with wood pellet and/or gas hearth appliance installation.
- Experience installing stoves, fireplaces, and/or inserts.
- Strong understanding of venting, clearances, hearth requirements, and installation procedures.
- Ability to read and follow manufacturer installation instructions.
- Experience leading or supervising other installers or tradespeople.
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems in the field.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- A strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work physically and safely in construction environments
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Current Construction Supervisor License (CSL), as required for the position.
- This Position Is NOT:A construction manager who primarily manages from an office.
- A project manager who wants to delegate all field work.
- Someone whose experience is limited to supervising subcontractors.
- An entry-level installer who is not yet capable of leading a crew.
- This Position IS:We are looking for a Working Foreman who enjoys being in the field. You will be expected to lead the crew and do the work.
