Laughing Planet Commissary Baker Laughing Planet is a locally owned and operated quick-service restaurant company with 10 locations in Oregon. We offer fresh, quality, nutritious food that is affordable and strive to provide a great experience for our guests and employees. We are currently hiring for a part-time Commissary Baker, at our Portland Commissary location. Schedule is Sun-Mon 12-8pm and Friday 12-8pm.
The ideal candidate: Be positive and team driven Has a minimum of 1 year kitchen prep and baking experience Has knowledge of baking fundamentals Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required) Can ensure the proper preparation and cooking of high quality ingredients in large batch quantities Has a sense of urgency Will read and follow recipes Knows how to portion ingredients Can perform basic kitchen math Attention to detail Can display the ability to operate equipment such as gas ranges, and ovens safely Has the ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical maneuvers such as kneeling, squatting and using step stools Will communicate clearly with team members and management Maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen environment Employment perks are: Diverse and fun work environment, Dental/Vision/Life insurance coverage offered, Paid Sick Leave, Birthday Pay, Shoe Discounts, Meal Discounts, Scholarship opportunities, Referral bonuses ($150-$250), Tri-Met discounts, Awesome company swag, and more!
