KPS Global (KPSG) is the North American industry leader in the manufacture, production, and installation of Walk-in Coolers and Freezers. KPSG’s end-product serves many channels within the retail food market as well as industrial applications. KPSG is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas with most support activities centralized in the Fort Worth facility. KPSG maintains product manufacturing in five locations: San Dimas, CA; Fort Worth, TX; Piney Flats, TN; Conyers, GA and Goodyear, AZ.
The Business Analyst interprets customer, sales, and market data from a range of sources and communicates these findings to sales management and team members. The Analyst manages customer data, recognizes trends and key indicators to generate recommendations and solutions. The Analyst works daily to support the CFO & CCO Sales & Marketing and team members to make data driven business decisions. The Analyst understands the expectations of the business and seeks to facilitate excellent internal customer service.
Job Responsibilities
Performing data mining, analysis, and other tasks that are associated analyzing costing
Support preparation of KPI and financial information
Assisting in the budget and forecast process by incorporating data analysis results for key inputs
Supporting the development and maintenance of high-level scorecards focused on meeting designated integration synergies in a financial and non-financial roles
Validating the quality of data and challenging it for accuracy, reasonability, and timing; willing to intercept the process if any data is questionable
Evaluating profit and cost efficiencies, as needed, in various areas of KPS Global
Required Experience
Items listed are required unless “preferred” is indicated
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
1+ years of experience in a financial and/or business analysis role with a focus on accounting or corporate finance, business development, or financial planning and analysis
Experience retrieving and manipulating raw data from various sources for analytical work and reporting
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a keen ability to tailor analysis to specific circumstances
Proven ability to take initiative, demonstrate a sense of urgency and intellectual curiosity, and identify opportunities for business growth and improvement
Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively and remain detail oriented while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Superior written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills and the ability to interact successfully with all levels of an organization
Advanced knowledge of Excel and BI
Accounting and GAAP knowledge preferred
