About the role
LaserJet Alliance Senior Business ManagerThis role is responsible for overseeing implementation of strategic initiatives and business models with our strategic Alliance Partner that drive success in our LaserJet business. The role explores and assesses new business opportunities, and expansion strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. The role oversees a team of senior individual contributors contributing to the development of organizational strategy and business plans execution.ResponsibilitiesLeads critically important, higher impact, time-sensitive efforts to define new business opportunities (e.g., optimizing business models, growth initiatives, cost reduction strategies) with our strategic alliance partner.Manages highly complex strategic, organizational, and operational initiatives, including business development, operations, and large-scale a team of senior individual contributors, who execute segment/functional business models.Partners with executives in creating strategic initiatives and aligning plans and projects on a wide range of strategic issues, including risk management and implementation tactics.Oversees significant analysis efforts and develops new tools and processes to evaluate strategic objectives and financial returns.Influences and coaches internal partners by participating in compelling analysis and recommendations that build the business case for new global, virtual, and cross-functional teams and communications to facilitate the development of plans / proposals.Provides innovative thought leadership and makes significant contributions to organizational planning knowledge base.Provides strong leadership, develops and sets individual and team goals, and acts as a change agent and leader; ensures proper tools and resources are in place to support team efforts.Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.Education & Experience RecommendedFour-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in strategic management, strategic planning and implementation, consulting, market research, or a related field.Preferred CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationKnowledge & SkillsAgile MethodologyBusiness IntelligenceComputer ScienceDashboardData AnalysisData ManagementData ModelingData QualityData ScienceData VisualizationData WarehousingExtract Transform Load (ETL)Machine LearningPower BIPython (Programming Language)R (Programming Language)SAS (Software)SQL (Programming Language)StatisticsTableau (Business Intelligence Software)Cross-Org SkillsCustomer CentricityPrioritizationResilienceTeam ManagementStrategic ThinkingImpact & ScopeImpacts large functions and leads projects requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines or areas of HP.ComplexityUses managerial concepts and company objectives to resolve highly complex issues in creative and effective ways.
