Accounting Specialist
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to manage key accounting functions, including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, inventory, and financial analysis. This is a hands-on, on-site role working closely with finance, operations, procurement, and warehouse teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle AP, including invoices, POs, three-way matching, vendor reconciliations, and payments. Support AR, revenue recognition, billing, cash application, and collections. Perform month-end close, account reconciliations, AP accruals, and GL activities. Analyze inventory, costs, margins, and operational transactions. Use Net Suite/ERP systems and Excel to build reports, reconciliations, and financial analyses. Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processes and internal controls. Partner with operations, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.4–7 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong GL, month-end close, AP, and reconciliation experience. Knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition. Experience in an inventory-driven environment such as distribution, healthcare, pharmacy, manufacturing, e-commerce, wholesale, or 3PL.Net Suite experience strongly preferred; comparable ERP experience considered. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and large-data analysis. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. CPA or CPA candidacy is a plus.
