- What We're Looking ForExperience & Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience.
- Architectural registration preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience preparing commercial construction documents is required.
- Experience with commercial retail projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience with prototype-based projects or national retail programs is a plus.
- Technical SkillsHigh proficiency in Revit; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction document preparation and architectural detailing.
- Experience coordinating drawings with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants.
- Working knowledge of commercial building systems, building codes, accessibility requirements, and permitting processes.
- Experience with construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, field observations, and consultant coordination.
- Professional SkillsStrong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Success in This RoleWithin your first year, you will:
- Become the technical lead on multiple national retail projects.
- Deliver coordinated construction documents with minimal revisions.
- Build strong working relationships with consultants and internal project teams.
- Improve drawing quality, coordination, and production efficiency across multiple projects.
- Become a trusted technical resource within MMA's Retail Studio.
