Position Summary:
APPI manufactures wood veneer panels used for yacht interiors, office lobbies and high end kitchens. We are hiring a Machine Operator / Production Technician to support the production of high-quality wood veneer panels. This role is for someone who is dependable, focused, and motivated to learn. This is not a slow-paced or loosely supervised position. The right candidate pays attention, works steadily, and takes pride in doing things correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively assist in the operation of production machinery. Load, unload, and handle materials carefully and consistently. Monitor machines during operation and report issues immediately. Follow work instructions exactly and ask questions when unclear. Perform basic machine adjustments and setups as trained. Inspect materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Support production flow by helping where needed, not only where assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven reliability and strong attendance. Ability to stay focused and productive throughout the workday. Comfortable working with hands, tools, and machinery. Willing to learn, accept feedback, and improve. Able to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment. Prior manufacturing or shop experience is a plus, not a requirement. Basic understanding of math. Able to safely operate a forklift is preferred, but not required. What This Job Requires Work hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM and Friday 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM.Saturday or overtime hours as needed. Paying attention to details that affect quality. Showing up on time, every day, ready to work and with a positive attitude. Taking responsibility to ask instead of waiting to be told what to do next. Working at a steady pace and contributing to the team. If you prefer a slow pace, frequent phone use, or loosely supervised work, this position is not a fit.
Work Environment:

We'll train the right individual, but it starts with showing motivation, focus and aptitude.
