About the role
- Lead, mentor, and develop Account Executives, Account Managers, and Brand Ambassadors
- Develop and execute statewide sales strategies to drive revenue and market share
- Establish, monitor, and manage sales KPIs, quotas, and performance goals
- Coach team members on account growth, pipeline management, and new business development
- Drive new account acquisition and growth within existing retail partnerships
- Support key customer relationships and strategic accounts
- Oversee CRM usage, sales activity, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Partner with marketing, operations, and product teams to execute market initiatives
- Ensure strong brand presentation and visual merchandising across retail partners
- Participate in vendor days, industry events, and other market activations
- Identify market trends and opportunities to support continued growth across Michigan
- Qualifications3–5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in cannabis, CPG, craft beer, beverage, alcohol, or another relationship-driven industry
- Proven success leading and developing sales teams
- Strong understanding of territory management, sales pipelines, and revenue growth
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing a statewide territory
- Strong retail, wholesale, or account management experience
- Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Michigan
- Compensation$110k - $130k base salary
- Bonus/Commission based on achievement of sales quota
- $3,000 car stipend
