About the role
Front Desk AgentAs a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing personalized, five-star arrival, departure, and concierge-level guest services while maintaining immaculate front office standards. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Greet guests by name, manage seamless check-ins and check-outs, and provide tailored overviews of Broadmoor amenities and accommodations, including all facilities, services and hours of operation. Serve as the primary communication link between guests, housekeeping, concierge, and management to fulfill special preferences and VIP requests. Accurately post room charges, manage cash banks, handle secure credit card transactions, and balance daily shift folios. And passes on all information and charges to upcoming shifts and follow Broadmoor policies regarding check acceptance. Maintains Front Desk station and keeps organized and stocked at all times. Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor's history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets. Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required. Performs other duties as assigned. What we are looking for:
Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
Previous experience in front desk or guest service is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.
Impeccable professional presentation, articulate communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and an innate passion for luxury service.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, property management software, and email communication.
A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
Excellent negotiation skills, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices.
