Regional Account Manager — Western United States
Company: Solverra
Territory: Western United States – (Remote)
Travel: Regular travel throughout the territory
About the role: Solverra is seeking a Regional Account Manager to build and grow our distribution network across the Western United States. The primary focus is business development with foodservice distributors and specialty paper distributors. This person will establish regional partnerships, help distributors bring Solverra products to market, and support their local sales teams in winning and growing accounts. The right candidate knows that securing a distributor relationship is only the beginning. Success in this role means working alongside distributor representatives, building demand with end customers, and turning new placements into sustained sales.
Key responsibilities: Identify, pursue, and develop relationships with foodservice and specialty paper distributors across the Western United States. Build relationships with distributor leadership, category managers, purchasing teams, and local sales representatives. Develop territory plans that connect distributor opportunities with restaurants, hospitality groups, entertainment venues, and other foodservice customers. Train distributor sales teams on Solverra’s products, positioning, and the customer needs they address. Join local sales representatives for customer meetings, product presentations, sampling, and follow-up. Help distributors launch Solverra products in their markets and grow sales after the initial placement. Coordinate with Solverra’s internal teams on pricing, samples, forecasts, inventory needs, and customer implementation. Maintain an active pipeline and report on distributor progress, customer opportunities, and territory performance. Gather market feedback to help refine our sales approach and product offering.
Qualifications: Experience in business development or account management within foodservice distribution, specialty paper distribution, packaging, or a related industry. Established relationships with distributors in the Western United States are strongly preferred. A record of opening new accounts and growing sales through distributor partners. Experience training and working alongside local or field sales teams. Ability to manage both strategic distributor relationships and hands-on customer opportunities. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills. Willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory.
What success looks like: The Regional Account Manager will expand Solverra’s distributor presence in the West, equip local sales teams to represent our products confidently, and develop a measurable pipeline of end-customer sales. Success will be measured by active distributor partnerships, market launches, customer wins, and sustained regional revenue growth.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
