All about the role: The Autonomous Maintenance Leader provides functional leadership and direction to the Process Technicians of the Assembly and sub-assembly areas. The Autonomous Maintenance Leader focuses on strategic continuous improvements, develop processes and implement audits to improve quality, scrap and equipment performance (OEE).
What you'll do: Lead and oversee the Process Technicians/Autonomous Maintenance Team for assembly operations, ensuring performance, accountability, and continuous development. Standardize the autonomous maintenance program by implementing processes, preventive maintenance (PM) routines, tools, and training for Process Technicians. Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Develop and deliver technical and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) training programs, including skill-development curricula aligned with the Electrolux Learning Center of Excellence. Manage workforce planning, including labor mapping, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of Process Technicians in partnership with Manufacturing Managers. Establish and maintain the tools, supplies, documentation, and web-based resources (POKA) required for Process Technicians to perform their responsibilities effectively. Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams (Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, Quality, and Operations), supporting environmental initiatives, improving OEE, reducing scrap, and delivering cost savings.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to lead teams and drive operational performance. Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, project management practices, and root cause analysis. Ability to interpret technical drawings, performance KPI's and production data to support continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, Time & Attendance, POKA, and APRISO; automation experience and Spanish language skills are a plus.
