Job Title: Field Service Technician (ATM / POS Support)
📍 Location: El Paso, TX 📅 Duration: 1 Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide onsite support, installation, maintenance, and repair services for ATM, POS, kiosk, desktop, and peripheral equipment across the El Paso area. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hardware troubleshooting, IT support, desktop support, or field service experience.
Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ATMs, POS systems, kiosks, PCs, printers, and related hardware. Perform preventive maintenance and hardware component replacements. Diagnose technical issues and resolve customer incidents within SLA requirements. Support equipment installations, upgrades, cable setup, and site preparation activities. Document service activities, asset information, and work completed. Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent onsite support. Follow security procedures while servicing financial and retail equipment. Collaborate with dispatch, support teams, and management to ensure timely issue resolution.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.0-2 years of experience in Field Service, Desktop Support, Hardware Support, or IT Technical Support. Experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, peripherals, or point-of-sale (POS) devices. Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
Preferred Qualifications: A+ Certification or similar technical certification. Experience supporting ATMs, POS systems, kiosks, or NCR equipment. Associate Degree in Electronics, IT, or related field. Retail POS installation or maintenance experience.
Additional Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and traveling between customer sites. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts when required.
