About the role
Job Description:
Experienced CAX Administrator to manage and support engineering tool environments that enable high-quality design and product development for EV battery systems. The role involves maintaining CAD/CAE/CAM tools, PLM systems, licenses, and templates, ensuring smooth operations for mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
Administer, maintain, and support CAD/CAE/CAM tools (e.g., CATIA V5/V6/3DX) Manage PLM systems (3D experience), including user access, permissions, and data integrityHandle software installations, updates, licenses, and patchesCreate and maintain templates, macros, standards, and configured librariesProvide technical support and troubleshooting for engineering usersSupport data management, version control, and change workflowsAssist in upgrades, migrations, and system integrationsCollaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure tool performance and reliability Requirements: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, IT, or related field 5 - 8 years of experience as a CAD/CAE/PLM/CAX AdministratorGood Knowledge about CATIA V5/V6/3DX or equivalent CAD toolsExperience with PLM systems and software license managementGood understanding of engineering workflows and data management Preferred: Scripting knowledge (Python, VB, or similar) Experience supporting automotive engineering teamsFamiliarity with high-volume product development environments We offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
