About the role

What you will be doing: • Be knowledgeable of all marina activities and amenities. • Be personable with marina guests & residents. • Assist in guest arrival, tying dock lines, and connecting customer electric and water to marina facilities. • Occasionally answer phone calls from customers regarding reservations & pricing after training. • Accept customer payments through Quick Books after training. • Maintain cleanliness of marina office, docks, walkways, bath houses, pool area/furniture, and parking lots. • Ensure the property is free of debris and trash. • Assist pool operator with pool deep cleans when needed. • Consult with Marina Manager for daily duties/scheduling. • Be able to make recommendations for restaurants, shopping, etc. when asked by guests.
What we are looking for: • High work ethic, self-initiative, and always create a productive and positive atmosphere. • Someone who enjoys working outside in various weather conditions, near the water, and with boats. • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly • Ability to occasionally lift items over 50 pounds with assistance • Capability to bend, twist, kneel, climb ladders, and work on uneven or wet surfaces • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time • Will be required to work varying schedules to include weekends and holidays. • Driver's license is preferred but not required. • Quick Books and Microsoft office proficiency welcomed but not required. Pay rate $16
