Assembly Technician Saber Power Services, LLC (SPS) located in Houston, TX is a nationally recognized full service, EPC, specialty engineering, procurement, construction and testing and commissioning company specializing in complex medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure in North America.
Position Summary:
Saber Power Services is seeking an Assembly Technician to support the assembly, quality control, and shipment of electrical components and systems. This role involves hands-on work with tools and equipment, ensuring products meet our standards of safety and performance. This position will be located in Baton Rouge, LA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools
- Perform quality checks and complete QC documentation
- Safely operate forklifts and other shop equipment
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and local part deliveries
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPESupport preventative maintenance and shop organization
- Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
- Ability to read and follow work orders or assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Forklift experience preferred
Employment Requirements:
- Pass drug screen and background check
- Maintain valid driver's license
- Available to work Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional overtime
