About the role
Our client, a major international wholesaler/manufacture in the Building Materials Industry is adding a Director of Sales position to their team. The Director of Sales will lead and grow the company’s sales organization across national accounts, distribution channels, and manufacturer partners. They will work closely with product marketing, operations, and senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, improve market penetration, support new product launches, and ensure the company continues to deliver a high level of service to its customers.

Edison, NJRequired Travel: 40%When you are not traveling this position is expected to be IN OFFICE. Essential Responsibilities: Directly owns the relationship with the decking manufacturers. Lead, coach, and develop the sales Territory Managers covering NY, NJ, PA, DE, and MD.Maintain and expand relationships with key national accounts, distributors, dealers, and strategic channel partners. Establish clear sales goals, performance expectations, and accountability across the sales organization.
Essential Qualifications:
10+ years sales experience within the distribution /wholesale/ manufacturing building materials industry.3+ years of sales management experience.
Demonstrated success growing sales through distribution, dealer, national account, and/or retail channels.
Strong understanding of account management, channel strategy, forecasting, and sales planning.
