Position Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards
  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and functionalities for systems integrations
  • Develop, document, and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products
  • Participate in the agile software development lifecycle including planning, reviews, and supporting customer meetings
  • Debug and resolve issues identified to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products
  • Perform software development, participate in code reviews, and adhere to guidance on software standards and design principles
  • Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development
  • Develop, establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics that align with organization goals and industry benchmarks
  • Execute and document software research and development projects
  • Advise on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations
Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, JavaScript) and familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, hardware engineers, and program managers Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and system-level validation in complex software environments Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills: 5+ years of experience developing complex software applications and algorithmic solutions 5+ years of experience leading software development 5+ years of experience with modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Visual Basic 1+ years of experience in a cloud computing environment e.g. Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies. Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics and constraints
