About the role

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a field service engineer in Boise to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on SEM-based inspection systems in semiconductor manufacturing environments. You will troubleshoot complex equipment and coordinate with customers to minimize downtime, while traveling up to 20% to customer sites. Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of experience with SEM tools or e-beam inspection, strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills, and a technical degree.
